I oversee all academic functions of College Credit Plus, including curriculum alignment and Higher Learning Commission compliance. I arrange the coordination of ZSC campus faculty with CCP faculty to ensure quality and content of instruction are consistent. I oversee the CCP Academic Advisors both here on campus and at the high schools. I also oversee the ZSC Learning Lounge which offers tutoring services, college readiness workshops and a comprehensive testing center. We strive to create a learning community which provides a network of support from the moment a student enrolls to the moment she or he graduates, regardless of entry level ability. Our goal is to help remove student barriers to success. I believe that education is the best way to improve the quality of life of the people of Appalachia. Show less

High School Programs Director
-
Jul 2016 - Feb 2017
I oversaw the admissions and registration processes of College Credit Plus students both on and off campus. I advised and scheduled all of the high school students who enrolled in college classes on the Zane State campus. My most crucial accomplishment during this eight month appointment was the restructuring of services and streamlining of processes for the college. The advent of College Credit Plus led to an explosion of the number of high school students who were taking college classes at their high school. The processes at the College could not keep up with the demands of the state, the high schools and the students. Show less
