I started, originally, as a volunteer for my co-op class during my Animal Studies degree during the Summer of 2013. Then, after graduation, I became a part-time employee in October of the following year. My duties include, but are not limited to: Cleaning, circulation, cataloging, computer help, shelving, answering the phone, etc. Generally speaking, I fill in wherever needed the most. This position was used to fulfill the practicum requirement of my Child & Family Studies degree. We were required to complete 250 work hours, various assignments, and to create and implement a program that fulfilled a need of the community or workplace. My chosen program was an Anti-Bullying program which was presented to 5th Graders at the Lee County Elementary School, once a month for six months. I also helped the office's program assistant in whatever way I could, such as with her other programs, attending 4-H Camp, making copies, etc. Show less
