Whilst in Head Office I was responsible for the development & management of the wine departments product cost database, reviewing and maintaining data accuracy and processes for all wine products information, key point of contact for UK consumer press, siuppliers and store communication. I also got involved in the selection process for new wine ranges we implemented across the stores and worked on the re-designing of the wine range, layout branding and implementation throughout all the UK wine stores

From starting as an 8 hour sales assistant I worked my way up to be a senior branch manager, area trainer, cluster leader and acting area manager covering 40+ stores for my boss in his absence. I loved doing wine tastings for groups of people who wanted to learn about wine in a fun way e.g. the RAF to carrying out serious tastings for wine societies. I was responsible for all new Manager training on my area and implemented a series of store trials and re-branding that was used within the brand. It was a great job and the skills I learned in my 11 years gave me a fantastic base to build on and help others do the same. I learned about some fantastic wines and with my knowledge have shared this with friends and family over the years
