Bio
J.P. Graulty
I had the privilege of working closely with Heather Lenz to develop a dynamic, new strategic plan to guide the Community Innovation Network for the next 3 years, as she transitioned to full-time consulting. Heather led a process that was energizing, and engaged all of our key stakeholders. We now have a newly articulated Vision, Mission, and Core Values, and an ambitious and achievable implementation plan for the next 3 years. I look forward to future opportunities to work with Heather, and she has my highest recommendation.

I have worked with Sangfroid Strategy in numerous capacities, and unreservedly would do so again. Together, we created a curriculum for professional development in the context of hands-on project-based learning in a woodshop. Heather brought a deep knowledge of developing corporate behavior and culture, as well as design-thinking (not to mention a voracious curiosity for making!). Moreso, she operates with a creative adaptiveness to consider the novel format, identify its unique potential, and to then re-develop models to reflect the power of the environment and to cater the program specifically to the context. What she brings to the table is extensive and dynamic. But it is her keen insights and responsiveness to the present environment that truly differentiates her approach. We also hired Sangfroid when we were embarking on a large community art project, that aimed to involve 100 community members from a cross-section of the city. In order to ensure that the resultant participants reflected this true cross-section, we engaged Sangfoid to map out and oversee a process that was inclusive and actively pursuing equity. Her experience enabled her to provide a thoughtful plan and approach. Her deep and diverse network from years of experience enabled robust participation. Her attention to detail enabled a fluid process. Her grace and participant-centered approach enabled a truly community-involved result.
