Heather is an incredibly passionate and skilled volunteer manager. She has the ability to motivate a diverse range of participants, providing them with the tools required to strengthen their learning and development. She listens to people to understand their problems and works collaboratively to create solutions, giving the volunteers the confidence to tackle their issues. I have seen Heather work with volunteers to develop highly successful fundraising events, raising huge amounts of money and awareness for charitable causes. She is brilliant to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

During her time as RAG and Volunteering Officer Heather proved herself to be an incredibly committed and enthusiastic volunteer. Organising incredible events with local press and a great amount of student engagement with very little support needed. An absolute joy to be around and a credit to Vanbrugh RAG and Volunteering.

As an Events Coordinator I created, managed, promoted and hosted immersive themed events in Manchester City Centre venues. I gained excellent experience in using social media, press releases and other methods of events promotion, as well as ensuring many regular return visitors through excellent communications with visitors through various channels of communications. The particular focus on attention to detail to create these immersive, meaningful events ensured these were high quality events which often sold out. Show less
