To Whom It May Concern, During the 5 years I have been Heather Hardie-Underwood’s Colleague at Texas Woman’s University, I have witnessed her display exceptional skills as a Pioneering individual. To expound further and for one main skill I saw most: • Leadership Skills • Collaboration- With Child Development being such an inquiring, exploratory field to discover how a child can overcome challenges in regards to proper growth & guidance. She exemplified the task ahead. In the Program Planning & Administration of the Young Child course we both took, we had to participate on a class project consisting of: an evidenced based framework, a safer model , and 7 competencies & activities that included the building of character every child would need for being resilient. This project gave Heather the understanding of what it will take to construct the right programs for early childhood education and some. Along with giving proper strategies for a child to build social and emotional skills in a secure space to build relationships when regulating emotions. • Empathy I am confident that Heather’s attitude and skills would make her a valuable contributor to any organization. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions you may have. Sincerely, Tara M. Jackson jacksontara14@gmail.com
