Recommendation for Heather Ozaltun Feb. 2, 2012In my thirty years as Professor of Music at University of Colorado Denver, Heather Ozaltunwas among my four most outstanding students. Her Senior Recital demonstrated her virtuoso abilities and her insightful understanding of Ginestera Piano Sonata, Chopin Ballade No. 1, and other important and difficult pieces from the piano repertoire. Having attended some of her lessons, she is skillful, encouraging and patient with her students. I know that she has had extensive accompanying experience at the Conservatory in Izmir. Heather is a congenial, ambitious young woman who would not only study in but contribute to a doctorate program in music. I would highly recommend her for a doctorate program. Prof. Zoe Erisman ret.
