I remember Heather's days as a fellow reporter at WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo, MI. When I arrived in September 1998, she told me it was her dream to report on television. At the time, she was behind the scenes doing a little bit of everything. A short time later, she was given her chance to report. Heather had that sparkle in her eyes and exhibiedf a contagious passion. I saw a hungry, determined journalist who was ready to prove herself among veterans in the newsroom... and she did. Heather gained the respect of many in the newsroom including myself. I loved her team-first attitude. She was more than willing to do her part so the team could succeed. Fast forward to the modern day, Heather still has that same drive. Hiring her would be a no-brainer. Any company would be lucky and blessed to have her.
