Overall, my goals are to identify and guide the development of new therapeutics for disorders associated with epilepsy using animal models and human data. Previous and ongoing studies include use of mouse, rat, and pig models of neurological disorders including Angelman syndrome, focal cortical dysplasia, and acquired epilepsy to measure electrical activity (quantitative EEG and local field potentials), sleep and circadian cycling, seizure threshold, cognitive and social behavior, and signaling pathways.
