  I'm responsible for the mechanical design of our quantum compute demonstrators, two silicon based quantum machines now running and accessible in San Carlos, CA and at University College Dublin. These are 32U rack scaled machines designed to keep our quantum chips at 3K and at high vacuum (10^-8 Torr). Development of Aquarius, our next generation workstation-sized machine is ongoing.

The designs themselves are radically different by being more face-appropriate for people with small noses, high cheeks and high eyebrows. We've developed a novel nose-piece suspension that cushions rebound and lets the eyewear seem to float on your face. We've also innovated the way these glasses fold, providing a low-profile section which, together with gently curved case, lets you comfortably slip even our biggest sunglasses into your purse or pocket.
