I’ve had the opportunity to work with Helen for 3 years on multiple engineering teams, first alongside her and later as her manager. Helen is a strong contributor across the board, from technical ability to project ownership. I was most impressed by her analytical insights that, time and again, kept projects moving forward by identifying and discarding misaligned requirements, and ensuring designs avoided unnecessary complexity and maintained scalability and security. In addition to her strong technical skills, she was a core pillar of the team’s culture, fostering an environment of openness and inclusivity that allowed new members to quickly feel comfortable and onboard seamlessly. Helen would be a welcome addition to any team and I would be delighted at the opportunity to work with her again.
