Responsible for the daily account management of five Charitable Trusts: Postcode Animal Trust, Postcode Care Trust, Postcode Children Trust, Postcode Culture Trust and Postcode Support Trust.Each Trust is an independent charity with a board of Trustees who meet 3 times a year to review the management of the Trusts and its beneficiaries. I spend most days liaising with 40 various good causes that are working in health and wellbeing, animal welfare, the arts, culture and heritage environments supporting them through their annual funding applications. I also continuously research and meet with new potential charities for future consideration, whether it’s for a one off project or for continuous support.I work closely with charities to increase their awareness and regularly to review the impact of funding to ensure the safeguarding of players funds, as well as maximising associated profile raising opportunities and identifying areas requiring support in charitable sectors.Key Achievement’s: Management of awarding major grants starting at base award of £100,000 up to £600,000, awarding over £12.7 million across several grant-giving Trusts. Key Achievements: *Achieved £1,588,762 bring in an additional £88,762 surpassing target in 2012 by 6% through own responsible income streams. Lead and supported the team to achieve £2.1 million during considerable staff changes for 6 months. *Created Cake Break straplines: ‘Let’s get baking to beat MS’ and ‘You see a cake we see a cure’ achieving income of £45,875 growing income from 97% compared to first year. *Reduced attrition on regular giving by 105% in 2012 and achieved income of £309,798 which was 6.5% increase on income and 3.3% increase on donors in previous year. *Reactivated 5,850 supported by telephone to take Home Money Box. *Identified 56 legacy pledges for MS Society and solicited high value donations to the value of £23,500. *Achieved £120,353 from four direct mail appeals, resulting in 41% increase on the previous year, with a 5% increase on average gift and raising response rate by 2%. Managed and developed Individual Giving at Myeloma UK, looking after Direct Mail, Committed Giving, Legacies, Payroll Giving and In Memoriam and Tribute Fund Giving. In the absence of an Events Manager, I managed all Community Fundraising initiatives for several months including running and walking events. The department still exceeded and met all targets during this time bringing in £600,000.
