Ridiculously efficient’ is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Haytam. I had the pleasure of working with Haytam for one year at Desert Farms, collaborating on several products, which are currently in 40 Whole Foods store in the California. Haytam's ability to juggle multiple projects was unlike any I’ve seen before and made a dramatic difference in the productivity level of our team. Haytam handles tasks extremely well under pressure and always delivers on tight deadlines. No matter how tense a meeting, Haytam made sure everyone left with a smile. As a team member or a leader, Haytam earns my highest recommendation. Any employee would be lucky to have Haytam as a top notch designer and project manager.

Over the period of Haytams Internship he helped us with a number of projects at different stages of design development utilising his many skills. Haytam carried out research for a number of future projects. The research carried out was broken down into market research, competitor research, and visual/form/aesthetic research for each project. For the majority of Hatyams internship we were worked closely together on the design and development of a new salt & pepper grinder set due for launch Christmas 2013. He helped create design specification sheets for the factory, analysed samples, pointed out potential issues and advised on changes. He also created many intricate CAD files in Solidworks as well as working on the structural design of the packaging. Haytam designed a new way of opening and closing the grinder to allow easy filling as conventional methods would spoil the aesthetic of the product. He came up with a solution (genius in it’s simplicity) that we have used on the final product. His work and design ability was instrumental in the development of this product. Other areas where Haytam helped were to create a full revised design specification of an existing product in our range for a new factory by reverse engineering an existing product in our range that we could use to instruct a new factory. He also helped on the development for a new cool bag. Including sketching, card sketch modelling, material research, CAD modelling, sourcing samples and liaising with an existing supplier in China. Haytam is an extremely enthusiastic and capable individual who I am certain will have an extremely successful career in design.

In this design consultancy I worked on 2 projects as part of a team of designers and engineers.1st project was to redesign ‘Lime chemical purity testing machine’. Created sketches of a new mechanism that reduced size and operating time. Client is currently prototyping my design.2nd project was to redesign the aesthetics of an RFID Identity card reader that is used in banks and government buildings. Two of my designs amongst three were chosen for presentation to client.
