  Through a series of high-impact summits, publications and strategic partnerships Waterloo Global Science Initiative (WGSI) catalyzed collective action on complex problems from high school education to energy access to Canadian implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Over 7+ years with the organization I played a key role in WGSI's evolution from event production to social innovation field catalyst. My role grew from coordinating communications to co-developing topic treatment for a series of high-level international and national summits, editorial management for all WGSI publications, acting as lead writer and/or editor on publications produced in partnership with other organizations and strategic partnership management.
