- Eight-week course learning the fundamentals of Python programming through immersive lessons. - Built a full-stack application utilising the technologies and problem-solving skills learnt during the course. Created a Python Flask web app using the COVID-19 API that asked a user to input a country and displayed the live total confirmed cases, deaths and recovered patients of said country.- Utilised requests and responses whilst working with a public API. Code design for application based on the Model, View and Control (MVC) model. - Showcased front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS in the design and implementation of the flask web page. The website showcases sustainability initiatives in fashion, tech and other industries, as well as young activists ensuring their voices are heard. - The project implemented knowledge learned in sessions such as the use of Bootstrap, CSS Grid, and CSS Flexbox. - In addition I utilised media queries, and JavaScript to ensure responsive mobile-first design and user interaction.- Collaborated and pair programmed using Git and GitHub - Successfully demonstrated team-work, project management as well as communication and problem-solving skills.
