  • Conducted extensive due diligence research on four new alternative investment funds investing in private debt, regulatory capital, real-estate equity, and cryptocurrency; assisting Northland in becoming one of the first multi-family offices in North America to invest in cryptocurrency on behalf of clients. • Recreated firm’s investment models; tasked with converting the models from static to dynamic, improving consistency through the use of various Excel functions split into client categories based on size of account, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs. • Contributed to the monthly rebalance of 500+ accounts and over $100M in assets. consisting of both public and alternative investments using the firm’s portfolio management system sometimes under extreme time pressure. • Used Microsoft Excel on a daily basis for tasks such as organizing data and comparing performance of different stocks/private equity funds for use at client meetings, weekly investment meetings, and for the benefit of associates and portfolio managers. • Helped CIO prepare and present materials for weekly investment meeting. Tasked with gathering information, listening to fund call updates, then adding notes to the agenda or presenting the information at the investment meeting. • Recorded weekly meeting minutes for the investment committee and the staff meetings in an efficient manner for use by the firm staff on a weekly basis. • Helped author a due diligence manual for the benefit of firm staff and future interns.
