As a member of the Product Launch Team in the Throughput Improvement Processes and Systems (TIPS) department, my team and I tracked and compiled Assembly Line Downtime and Stoppages that occurred during test builds for the updated 2021 General Motors' Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Escalade Models. In order to provide helpful metrics and data, I observed and communicated with the assembly line operators and Group Leads to gain insight on what caused the downtime so that an appropriate countermeasure can be implemented to increase the overall throughput for the new models. Usually relating to tooling that the operators use, Design of Parts, Manufacturing Processes of parts, or parts from Material Suppliers. For the length of the Product Launch period, weekly meetings were held where my colleges and I presented the downtime and associated metrics in an easy to read and understandable format through use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Additional responsibilities included: Maintaining a safe and efficient workplace on the factory floor by advising additions or alterations to be made to equipment or the facilities. Work orders for these were compiled through use of on site photos, Microsoft PowerPoint, and IBM Maximo Maintaining time studies for the line speed of the conveyors, to ensure their speeds are set and calibrated properly, as well as for equipment cycle times throughout the Assembly Plant. Implementing and maintaining a catalog for parts racks fabricated in-house so that their location and storage capacity is accurately documented. Show less

Oversaw lifeguard staff to ensure they are enforcing safety rules according to policy as well as managed the pool’s chemical levels and balances to maintain a clean and safe environment. I was also responsible for employee scheduling and stocking of inventory at the pool, including all logistical tasks that come with those. As a lifeguard I watched over patrons, enforced park rules, and aided patrons if their life was in danger. As an instructor I worked with kids to teach them how to swim, using different strategies to teach swim lessons as I encountered roadblocks with children. Show less

While working at this Civil Engineering firm, I was assigned to use AutoCAD in order to draft new plats and surveys from recorded site data points to accurately and precisely display plots of lands and additions on building sites. While I was a Senior in Highschool, I was able to work directly under a Senior Research Scientist as his aid with Assistive Robotics Systems. Through use of SolidWorks I was tasked with running physical simulations as well as presentation simulations & renderings, designing & printing needed parts for the robotic devices using SolidWorks.
