Hayden worked directly under me as a referee at i9 Sports. He was my youngest referee I ever hired but was without a doubt the MOST professional and prepared. In his first season he knew more about the rules and how to interact with the coaches than some of my most veteran referees. He always had a great attitude, great communication and was a great leader both on and off the field. If you are ever un-sure about hiring Hayden, I urge you to give him the chance at an interview/meeting and I grantee you that you will be surprised with his professionalism and how serious he takes each and every opportunity given to him!

Hayden interviewed me right after the Rio2016 Olympics and wrote a wonderful article. I'm really proud of him and I had a lot of fun meeting him and doing the interview. Hayden is very professional, he had done a lot more research in advance that virtually any adult reporter that I've worked with, and that was refreshing to me.

I supported PhD. Candidate Bree Bang-Jensen from the Political Science Department with her research into why countries chose to exit international agreements. The first half of my work consisted of reading through international treaties and scoring them based on how they interacted with elements of legalization in the signatory country. Next, I used the programming language R to analyze and visualize the data that had been collected, as I looked to find patterns and draw conclusions from data.

I have designed a series of remote learning coaching programs for high school and college students to address skills students struggled with during remote learning in Spring 2020. Building off of my book and experience with Executive Function, these programs teach students how to manage their assignments, stay organized, break assignments and projects into smaller pieces, and how to structure their day. Students also learn how to think about remote learning and communication skills to give feedback to instructors. Show less

12 week voting justice and education program. Sessions focus on the history of voting rights, voter suppression, gerrymandering, and other barriers to voting. Topics are covered at national level, and then students work in groups at the state level to look further at the local impacts of these barriers; my state was North Carolina. The education section would be followed by voter registration in a non COVID-19 year. 12 week voting justice and education program.
