FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Vessel Takeovers • Based on information from the Business Development Team, organize the Take Over Meetings and promulgate relevant information to relevant departments within the Thome Group. • Monitor and coordinate the functions of the various Departments & Groups involved in the induction of new tonnage into the Fleet. • Follow up with Principals and liaise with them for obtaining the relevant documentation. • Follow up with external bodies viz. Classification Societies, Flag States, Shipyards, Agents, Vendors etc for arrangement of various services in this matter. Vessel Handovers • Coordinate the handover requirements for all vessels leaving the Fleet. • Work closely with the Fleet Group to ensure that all relevant documents are identified, packaged and landed to storage. • Keep all relevant internal departments updated for handover of the vessels. • Follow up with external bodies viz. Classification Societies, Flag States, Agents, Equipment Vendors etc for the handover of the vessels. Vessel Services • Work closely with the Fleet Group to ensure that all Annual Surveys are carried out within the window period. • Coordinate Annual Services required for each vessel. • Keep all relevant internal departments updated for accomplishment of annual services. • Follow up with external bodies viz. Classification Societies, Flag States, Agents, Equipment Vendors etc for the accomplishment of Annual Services and SurveysRenewal of Certificate of Registry, Minimum Safe Manning, Ship Station License.Coordinate with MPA reference to local MPA Manager.
