  I officiate competitive youth soccer matches for Cal South; the official youth and adult state soccer association of the United States Soccer Federation in Southern California. This involves playing central and secondary roles in interpreting and administering the Laws of the Game while under pressure from players, coaches, and parents. It has allowed me to develop strong conflict resolution skills in order to diffuse excitable situations that can occur during matches. I've also coordinated on behalf of my association during local tournaments.

  I am tasked with helping boost enrollment and encouraging student engagement by interviewing and filming students and staff across several departments and majors.   While interning at the Mayor's office, I organized and facilitated the "All American Conversation on Homelessness" at La Sierra University where students, professors, and community leaders were given the opportunity to learn about the issues of homelessness and share best practices. I also helped launch "Kids Art Riverside", a program that was intended to foster partnerships with local elementary schools and increase the visibility of the Mayor's Office on social media platforms. Furthermore, I offered analytical support to the Program and Policy Coordinator through the acquisition and subsequent summarization of research on anything from public policy to constituent concerns.
