Upgraded many infrastructure components to support Windows 10 First Wave program, some of the projects done in the summer of 2015 include: building out all new physical and virtual domain controllers and raising domain/forest functional levels to 2012 R2, redesign of NPS (RADIUS) infrastructure, running Microsoft's AD RAP tool and resolving over 70 issues, building a new PKI and direct access 2012 environments. This supported 22,000+managed PC's and roughly 30,000 users.Built out new VPN environment to support Windows 10 leveraging a pair of HA F5 BIG-IP's running APM.Built out and upgraded our unified physical security platform, consisting of 20+ servers providing video surveillance, access control services with the capacity to support upcoming projects. I have worked with the infrastructure department over the past summers and the occasional school breaks. I have installed and configured switches in preparation to a move to layer 3, rewired closets, deployed wireless, helped reconfigure and bring up to district standards and redistribute old computers and also any customer support that has arisen on site. Managed project that took old computers that were below district standard. Dismantled them and combined hardware to create new computers that met the district standards. Then redistributed the computers back out into the environment. In charge of purchasing equipment to help Smartboard deployment and during purchasing process negotiated over a thousand dollars in savings. Show less
