Duties• Performed structural designs and analyses in support of major projects such as the Muscat City Centre expansion, the 64-storey Al Mas Tower in Dubai and the Passenger Terminal at the Al Maktoum International Airport.• Deployed multiple methods throughout design processes including software and by-hand calculations, suitably using technical abilities to create designs in compliance with AISC steel manual, ACI codes and PCI standards. • Completed necessary reconciliations between structural and architectural drawings and pre-cast and pre-stressed elements prior to production, ensuring company had access to the resources needed to effectively execute plans. • Built a strong understanding of company’s short- and long-term priorities, monitored the progress made by teams on key programs and prepared weekly reports to summarise events and raise any issues to facilitate solutions.• Managed multi-disciplinary personnel, including drafting teams, on a day-to-day basis, supervising work to uphold quality standards and allocating tasks across the workforce in line with known skills to maintain productivity.• Participated actively in technical meetings in liaison with the Project Manager, using technical expertise to deliver valuable insights into operations and supporting planning exercises for complex upcoming responsibilities. • Acted as an effective conduit between the factory and the work site to control the supply of critical equipment and plan for the acquisition of particular equipment to meet unexpected operational demands and avoid delays.• Conducted various further duties throughout production lifecycle including confirming the amount of fabrication drawings issued, as well as reviewing and signing off on MEP openings and cut-outs prior to pouring concrete.
