Hasina was instrumental in steering the organizational objectives of Calgary Pride and helped provide structure and process to a comprehensive portfolio of activities in pride operations. As a Director of Organizational change, Hasina's leadership kept everyone afloat and motivated to move forward in the right direction. Hasina is proactive, thinks like a marathoner, is process-oriented, and hardworking. Hasina understands the value of investing in diversity and inclusion from a holistic point of view, more than just a box-ticking exercise; hence her work at Calgary Pride was elemental for the ever-evolving pride movement. I wish her all the best, and I am confident that any organization she chooses will be happy to have her on the team.

I had the great pleasure of working with Hasina within her role as Director of Organizational Change at Calgary Pride. Hasina was faced with a remarkable challenge of leading the organization through its transition into a new collaborative leadership model, while supporting the production of an in-person and online Pride festival; the fourth largest of its kind in Canada. Her agility under extremely tight deadlines, supporting complex operational demands was impressively executed by her attention to detail, and matched only by her generosity of spirit. She exemplifies leadership in all that she does, is an undeniable trailblazer, and one of the most delightful people I have shared a cup of coffee with.
