During an intensive 5-week program, we learned about American business practices and teaching methods. The program was based on the core elements of the Kelley School of Business undergraduate curriculum and covered disciplines such as Accounting, Communications, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and Law and Ethics. We worked in small teams to conduct a feasibility study of a business idea that could be launched in our home country, Lebanon. The project culminated in a case competition-style presentation of 15 minutes, followed by a 10-minute question and answer session with a panel of judges. This experience allowed us to apply what we learned in the program to a real-world scenario. Show less
