  Having worked in a large multi-use facility for more than 12 years has given me the experience of managing all aspects of an award winning facility. As Assistant Manager I oversee three teams, delivering staff training and appraisals throughout the year. The industry is a student/community focused organisation and their safety is the number one priority. I cover all areas of health and safety, ensuring documents such as policies, procedures and risk assessments are reviewed annually to ensure the site remains compliant. I am also responsible for the procurement of contractors to carry out work on site, inspecting and signing off their work. I am heavily involved in the strategic management, developing and implementing the centre’s business strategy.
