I have had the privilege over the last 2 years to work with Harvey Leeds on a PNT, C4I integration effort between GPS Source Inc. and DRS technologies. Harvey is very detailed oriented, willing to address issues promptly and more importantly communicates to all parties needing information to accomplish the task. I have also found him to be very responsive to email and direct telephone requests. Harvey's pleasant and focused manner are the traits that contributed to our mutual success. He is a positive asset for DRS and all that work with, and on his team.

I have known and worked with Harvey for over 10 years. He has demonstrated a thorough understanding of the Systems Engineering process and ability to implement that understanding. In addition, he has shown an exceptional ability to provide detailed, accurate analysis and reports on a wide variety of highly technical subjects. Topics he has addressed include communication system architecture, optical system architecture, requirements generation for optical systems, performance analysis of optical systems, operator interface design and software development and many more. My most recent experience with Harvey was the preparation of a major technical proposal for a Long Range Surveillance System consisting of multiple optical sensors, complex communication suite and complicated operator interface to be integrated on to a combat vehicle. Harvey was assigned to support the development of the requirements for the optical system, choosing the components and analysis of the performance of the components. This required not only a thorough understanding of the customer’s requirements but a knowledge of what performance is feasible, what components are available within the industry and the ability to interface with personnel from a wide variety of backgrounds. Harvey’s support of this proposal exceeded expectations and was critical to the eventual win of the development program. It’s my pleasure to highly recommend Harvey. He will be a positive addition to any engineering organization.
