This job encouraged me to learn a lot of new skills, to ensure I am as versatile as possible during shifts. Some of these include: Working at the front of house, which includes checking people in to play golf, working behind the bar and selling products in the Pro shop. Patrolling the course attending to any slow play and other issues. Supervising the first tee to ensure the timetable is running smoothly. This work has developed my confidence in interacting with people, sometimes in high pressure situations. Show less

This role greatly improved my confidence in communicating with, managing and maintaining the attention of large groups. Some of the responsibilities involved were: Teaching football drills and new skills to children aged 5-10. Making the classes fun and keeping their attention. Responsibility for equipment and child safeguarding. This role greatly improved my confidence in communicating with, managing and maintaining the attention of large groups.
