Project title and outline: Solid Microneedle Technology for Drug Delivery Applications. Solid micro needles technology for drug delivery applications is a rational basis for designing, coating solution formulations for uniform and thick coatings on microneedles and to identify coating strategies to form composite coatings, deliver liquid formulations, and control the mass deposited on micro needle. Sharp-tipped microneedles, including pocketed microneedles, were fabricated. Rapid delivery of the drug into the artificial skin was studied. Show less
