Bioinformatics Intern

Worked with Bioinformatics Professor and Researched Axolotl Genome and compared it with the Human Genome. We explored the regenerative capabilities of the Axolotl and researched similarities between human genes and Axolotl genes to find any related genes that could be useful in the human body for regenerative capability. Ended up presenting the research in a Symposium with other professors and researchers at the end of the internship to receive feedback.
