• Management of quarterly market development funds (MDF): o I successfully managed the allocation tracking and approval of the accounts quarterly MDF across the EMEA region for the year. Ensuring that all available budget was allocated, utilised and tracked through our internal systems. Furthermore, evaluating the proposed activities for their ROI and branding/legal compliance. This developed my problem solving and organisation skills. • Co-ordinating co-branded presence at industry events: o I liaised directly with Lenovo to co-ordinate and execute Lenovo and Intel’s co-branded presence at industry trade show events such as VMware and Gartner IT infrastructure symposiums in addition to internal sales enablement events. I collaborated with the client team at Lenovo to design and produce all of our co-branded giveaways and collateral. On the day of these events I project managed the running of the Intel booth. This involved speaking to CTO’s from potential customers and introducing them to the relevant sales managers. At this event we were able to create over 50 potential pipeline opportunities. • Providing account team with quarterly third-party data analysis: o Upon the release of our quarterly third part data from IDC and GfK I would create a presentation for the team analysing each of the team members respective regions. In this analysis, I would include sales growth data and then deep dive into the specific products from both Lenovo and Intel that were performing well. I would also work closely with the country lead to try and gain some more subjective insight as to why they thought certain products were not performing as well in their region. I would then combine this with the market data and feedback to the account manager so that he could gain some insight into the overall performance of the EMEA region. Show less

• I worked for a week in the European marketing department. Developing skills in the use of social media for marketing and customer service. I helped to create content for the ‘Spitfire’ brand of ale using two celebrity endorsers. I also learnt about their business model of owning pubs for themselves as well as selling their product to supermarkets. • I worked for a week in the European marketing department.
