Engineering Technician

Feb 2023 - Present
in my role as an engineering technician I am responsible for the diagnostics, fault finding, servicing and repair of a large range of construction and mining machinery, primarily of the Case, Merlo and Luigong brands. It is a varied role and whilst not as challenging as my previous role I have still found it interesting as it has allowed me to increase my technical knowledge and methods as well as giving me experience on machines I have not worked on before. in my role as an engineering technician I am responsible for the diagnostics, fault finding, servicing and repair of a large range of construction and mining machinery, primarily of the Case, Merlo and Luigong brands. Managing Director
-
Jan 2021 - Dec 2022
As the Managing director at Charlie Kingham I was responsible for the running and management of the business but I was also one of the first points of contact for new clients, oversaw all projects on our schedule and signed off on all designs before proceeding to the production stage. In my role as a salesperson I would conduct client meetings, design meetings, discuss & design concepts, manage client & supplier relationships and ensure all expectations were met. In my role as a Project manager I would liaise with builders, contractors, architects, clients and other designers to ensure scheduling was correct and that required services were in place for installations. Other responsibilities on this role included estimation, ordering, drafting production documents, complying with building regulations and project reviews upon completion. This was an extremely versatile role, a high pressure environment and heavily relied on meeting deadlines which I was able to succeed in. Whilst I already had good organisational skills, communication and attention to detail, I was able to improve on these at Charlie Kingham and bring these up to an exceedingly high standard. Show less
