I joined Bullivant Media as a junior reporter, becoming deputy editor within two years and launch editor of a second title within four. I was responsible for the growth of the social media pages, including setting up the Twitter feed. I wrote countless exclusive stories and regularly covered topics including education, property, entertainment, local government and health. My exclusive about excess heat from the crematorium being used to warm the council's swimming pool was followed up by media companies around the world, and I led a campaign to fund a young boy's life-changing operation in America as well as being actively involved in a campaign to save the local hospital.
