  I assisted in a complex organic synthesis of a carbasugar with my research advisor. During this project, I analyzed samples with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectra: mostly proton but also carbon, DEPT, HSQC, HMBC, COSY, and TOCSY. I purified samples with Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and ran them on a biotag. I also worked with organic separation, distillation, and rotary evaporators.
