  Joined Continental Construction Limited in November 1986 as Assistant Manager Civil & subsequently elevated to various positions as Deputy Manager, Senior Deputy Manager & Manager Civil at Chamera Hydropower Project, Stage-I (540 MW) across river Ravi in district Chamba Of Himachal Pradesh. On commissioning of Chamera Stage-I Project in the year 1993, moved to Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Project (1500 MW) for construction of river diversion, 60 m high concrete dam, water intakes, desilting chambers & 16 Km long headrace tunnel across river Satluj in district Kinnaur of Himachal Pradesh. On commissioning of Nathpa Jhakri Power Project in July 2004, moved to Koldam Hydro Power Project (800 MW) across river Satluj in districts Bilaspur & Mandi of Himachal Pradesh for construction of river diversion tunnels & largest concrete chute spillway structure of Koldam.
