  Harley Wishner, MD, FACS, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is a distinguished faculty member of the Consortium for Improvement in Erectile Function, a member in good standing of numerous medical societies, and a courtesy staff member of many hospitals in the San Fernando Valley. Previously, he was Chief of the Department of Urology at the Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, California, and in 2005 had completed his term as Chief of Surgery at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in West Hills, California. In 1979, he co-founded Western Urologic Associates, a well-respected community-based practice in Los Angeles, where he practiced for 26 years.Dr. Wishner attended the City University of New York, where he graduated with honors and obtained his medical education from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He trained in general surgery at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospitals, and completed his residency and chief residency in Urology at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Wishner is a board-certified urologist, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He lectures frequently, both nationally and internationally, and has appeared on a variety of radio and television broadcasts. He has been a medical consultant to the motion picture industry, is currently a consultant to the insurance and pharmaceutical industries, and has taught and consulted for the medical legal profession.Dr. Wishner has a keen interest in clinical research. As Co-Principal of West Coast Clinical Research, a sought after clinical research site in Southern California, he functioned as an investigator in more than 175 clinical trials in urology and related fields. His clinical research interests include new treatments in erectile dysfunction, incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and prostate cancer.
