Duties & Responsibilities Proactive monitoring of an Oracle EBS R12.0.6, R12.1.3 and R12.2.5 Application/ Database & Administration to provide 24/7 services for end users. • Installing Oracle related products such as Standalone databases and EBS Applications, Oracle Discoverer, OBIEE for multiple projects involved. • Upgrading EBS applications and handled project like R12.0 *to R2.1*to R12.2.4 • Involved in licensing and product activations and have worked with modules of different product lines such as Oracle Finance (intensively), Oracle Supply Chain Management and etc. • Advice customers on Storage, Servers and etc. • Offer customer training requirements on Sysadmin and Apps DBA administration. • Involved in Cloning and provide backup strategy to customers. • Provide custom built shell scripts for housekeeping purposes. • Apply recommended patches using ADPATCH and ADOP utility so as to avoid bugs on all licensed products of EBS. • Headed the technical Support for Customers. • Performance Tuning (Concurrent Manager, JVM, DB, OS) • Tune long running reports and diagnose and troubleshoot evolving issues. • Regular Oracle EBS Application/Database Cloning using ADCLONE utility • Provide identical test environment as production environment to simulate existing issues and for the new development. Middleware and Other tools • Installing Oracle Weblogic server and Oracle Enterprise Data Quality on both Linux and Windows environments. • Apply recommended patches so as to avoid bugs on Oracle WebLogic. • Troubleshoot Apache and OC4J server issues. • Install and configure OBIEE. • Install and configure Oracle FMW 12C and 11g with Weblogic Server. • Provide and implementation of cold backup solutions as per the customer needs.
