Managed the launch and development of a K-12 quantum computing outreach program from zero to one. The initiative works to break down barriers of entry into the quantum computing industry, with a particular focus on reaching diverse youth, girls, and Indigenous youth. In this role, I developed program roadmaps, managed large budgets, learned stakeholder management, assembled and led teams of graduate students in developing curriculum. As an educator, I delivered workshops for high school teachers, youth, and educators. On the technical side, I assembled and managed teams of software developer interns to design, implement, and maintain software tools including quantum video games, web, and mobile applications. I worked with young, talented and passionate people, consistently picking up new skills - writing proposals for private sponsorships, presenting at conferences, and learning how to fundraise and market events.
