Furthermore, I also design presentations on key business aspects for review of people visiting from HQ and lead financial modelling & evaluation of business development, acquisition & partnership proposals. Moreover, I prepared annual budgets and latest estimates for the International brands portfolio; worked with Planning Head in presenting the budgets/estimates to Asia HQ; conducted variance analysis of actual financial results vs. budgets as Manager - Financial Planning & Product Pricing, I was a key member in special project related to change in import process & import price fixation as per custom rules. I even liaised with 25+ factories across India for reporting of actual cost of production and variation vs. budget on a monthly basis and led the standardization of reporting formats & automation of the reporting process. Reported exceptional issues and areas of improvement in various aspects of manufacturing quarterly to top management as Manager - Manufacturing Finance. I acquired knowledge of overall Indian Liquor industry like key brands, competition, state contribution, etc. including brand-wise / state-wise cost components & profitability, practical application of Custom Valuation Rules as well as major aspects of liquor industry like manufacturing process, procurement, product costing & operational aspects of owned and third-party bottling units. I played a key role in saving cost through negotiations during procurement of brand name from third party and purchased material at lower price than approved by management.
