  Planning: • Support the elaboration of project assessments and baselines. • Support the elaboration of new project proposals or the adjustment of existing project proposals. • Advise on the overall project planning and the elaboration of work-plans. • Assist the NRCS ERO District Programme Coordinator in all project planning activities (work plans, staff assignments, vehicle movements etc.) as deemed necessary by him/her. Implementation: • Support the project implementation to ensure that the project is delivered on time and in accordance with the project documents and the required quality standards. • Advise on identification and mitigation of project risks. Monitoring: • Supervise the project progress and recommend necessary adjustments where required. • Support project reviews and evaluations. • Advice the project team in setting up adequate filing, documentation and information management systems. • Support the project team to carry out periodic internal reviews and plans. Reporting and communication: • Support the elaboration of regular project reports and the periodic SRC reporting to donors, and media. • Support the project staff to strengthen their communication systems. Provide management support (Capacity Building) to the NRCS/SRC team: • Contribute to increase the management capacity of the project team in Dolakha. • Assist the NRCS ERO District Programme Coordinator to develop administrative tools according to NRCS guidelines. Others: • Liaise with other project partners and consultants where required. • Support the project team in the coordination with local authorities, clusters and NGOs. • Perform other duties as required by the line manager.
