The objective of project is to understand welding defect in manufacturing of carbon steel pipe of causes, remedies, defect. There are some welding defects found which is may cause of damaging the job and reducing job life. The welding defects were found in SAW pipe like lack of fusion, lack of penetration, porosity, inclusions, cracks, undercut and got information about technical definition of welding.
