Hany is an outstanding civil engineer and project manager. I was an independent consulting working as the design manager for a major project that Parsons Brinckerhoff was the prime consultant on. I worked closely with Hany in his capacity as engineering manager to get the necessary internal resources to complete the project successfully. Hany's competence both as a project manager and resource manager allowed me to focus on the external issues and tasks. He is well-respected by his staff, cohorts, and clients. Hany is great problem-solver, very personable, and a great teammate. He would be a valuable asset to any client, company, or agency. I would recommend Hany Ahmed to anyone in the A/E/P/C industry. Serve the residents of South Orange County by providing world class waste disposal and material recovery services at Prima Deshecha Landfill; an award winning modern landfill in the city of San Juan Capistrano, and one of three active landfills that the department operates to serve Orange County residents. Learn more about waste disposal and landfilling by visiting www.oclandfills.com, or even better, sign-up for a landfill tour (yes you can do that!), bring your family, or friends, or both, and we’ll take you in a VIP van for a 90-minute tour of the landfill guided by our engineers or biologists, where you will observe landfilling operations in real time, and learn about our endless efforts to safeguard human health and safety. Tours are also offered at our sister landfills, Frank R. Bowerman Landfill in the city of Irvine, and Olinda Alpha Landfill in the city of Brea. For more information, or to sign-up for a landfill tour, visit us at http://www.oclandfills.com/landfill/landfill_toursIn my capacity, I also serve about 65 fellow OCWR staff who run the daily operation in Prima and four other closed sites in what we refer to as “South Region Landfills”. Engineers, Biologists, Project Managers, Heavy Equipment Operators and Labors come together everyday to operate one of the nation’s premier solid waste disposal systems, and provide this essential public service to residents and businesses in South Orange County.Click the link below for a brief highlight from our 2018 Earth Day Event at Prima.
