I worked closely with Hans when I was CEO at Lantern. At the time Hans was Regional Manager, Southern Metro Region, at Mind Australia. I met Hans very soon after taking on the CEO role and we quickly developed a strong and trusting working relationship. Hans was someone I knew I could ask for advice and support and he was instrumental in initiating and nurturing a relationship between our two organisations. Hans and I worked together on the Southern Mental Health Alliance. This brought together clinical mental health services from Southern Health together with a number of non-government mental health services to work towards the delivery of a suite of integrated mental health services. I found Hans extremely easy to work with. He was a generous colleague, collegiate and encouraging. He is dedicated, respectful, inclusive, patient, a highly experienced leader and manager, a strong networker and highly committed to his community. I would happily work with Hans again in the future.
