This resulted in a basic/detailed engineering and ready for procurement. Due to lack of industrial partners, the project was terminated by the government. The Status Review determined that the control system was obsolete and couldn't handle the increase in signals from 1600 I/O to 3500 I/O. My responsibility as subcontractor to ABB was to build the graphics and quality assure the process. Furthermore, I worked with designing and redesigning parts of the system to prevent future problems and to optimize and increase the productivity of the plant. I participated in hazops and was responsible for writing the overall operating manual of the plant. During the fifteen commissioning trials I was deeply involved in operation, testing, analysing, modifying and planning the way forward.
