In this role Hans is responsible for the roll-out of a 10-step migration project in the busy schedule for this large utilities company in The Netherlands. Hans took care of project management for the extraction, deactivation and financial reconciliation. The migration team consists of eight persons with various nationalities and backgrounds. Besides the project management activities Hans takes a functional responsibility in financial reconciliation processes. The business alignment and SAP-requirement analysis, design of functionality and coordination of test planning are activities related to this responsibility. Related to the financial process analysis, the technical dependencies were identified and solved, effectively using a functional approach to a technically challenging process. A tertiary role for Hans is to ensure quality knowledge transfer to other Accenture consultants for leading and execution of the actual migration. Furthermore, his experience in finance and financial processing is applied to the new supplier systems. The different teams (both Client and Accenture) are trained and team members are managed.
