      The most challenging and demanding has been the last project I have done – Tallink Hotel Riga. This has been building up the hotel operations team by myself, naturally I have had help from our hotel chain management team and whole Tallink Group level but key features and solutions have been architected by my team and me. The economical situation in Latvia overall has been very unstable and hospitality industry tax policy from government nervous – despite to that the hotel has gained strong position on the market. During our first year we have been leader of our competitive set by average price, occupancy and revenue per available room for numerous times. I started my career in hospitality industry on M/S Fantaasia as chefs assistant, then worked at the ship's buffet restaurant, disco bar and reception. M/S Meloodia in reception. From 2000 HSC Tallink Autoexpress as senior steward for two seasons. Then on HSC Tallink AutoExpress 2 as intendant again for two seasons. Intendants responsibilities include ship catering, cleaning, and commercial management and administrative duties on service side. The work is extremely stressful and demanding. I am accustomed to working in extreme conditions and extreme tension. I have worked on nearly all Tallink Groups ships, and have overview of all the departments operations.
