Assisted a PhD Student in a long-term mark-recapture study to estimate the density of pygmy rabbits in the Great Basin region. Primary activities associated with this position focused on trapping and surveying for pygmy rabbits. Trails cameras were also used to observed pygmy rabbit behavior and abundance as well as presence, diversity, and behavior of predators within study sites.
