For the last 2 years at Gray I worked as the design lead on the remodel of 3 existing buildings to serve as an expansion of Gray's main campus in downtown Lexington. I worked with executive level management and a core team of highly experienced construction professionals to evolve and usher the design from initial internal approval and permitting with the city to construction problem-solving and final occupation by my colleagues. I was able to work on industrial projects of varying scale and at different stages in the design-build process from the proposal effort and pricing document stage to the final walk-through and punch list completion on a constructed building. My role extends beyond the everyday tasks of drafting construction drawings, assembling permit document sets, and keeping the BIM side of the project coordinated into tasks such as reviewing shop drawings, putting together finish boards, as well as coordinating with the MEP, Civil, and Structural Engineers. In December 2017 I was promoted from an Architectural Technician I to an Architectural Technician II. Show less
