My role for UKISC encompasses several facets that go together to result in the smooth running of a large territory in Orange County, CA. There is an element of sales, marketing, admin and management. I seek out opportunities by visiting youth organisations, spreading the word about the services we provide. Essentially, we bring 400+ coaches to America from the UK every year. We align these coaches with teams/clubs/players to help improve their soccer organisation.Once we have a connection set up, be it a camp, training program or clinic, I must ensure that it is well publicised in the local community. This involves liaising with local representatives to maintain efficiency whilst still generating a buzz to deliver success. My next responsibility is to manage the coaches upon arrival, continuing until they depart. Area's of management consist of staff well-being, the general motivation of staff, payroll, quality assessment & more. Our goal is to deliver the best possible soccer experience, this can only happen if all aspects of my role are taken care of with vigour and efficiency.
