  As Miss Tennessee 2015, I was able to serve the state of Tennessee in two main capacities. First, I worked as Governor Bill Haslam's Spokesperson for Character Education in Tennessee schools. By doing this, I was able to reach over 50,000 school children in Tennessee while promoting Gov. Haslam's Character Education Program. Secondly, I was able to serve all five Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals in Tennessee as the official Tennessee Goodwill Ambassador. This gave me the opportunity to visit patients in these hospitals, where I implemented my own program entitled "STEM Day at CMN" to promote the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education.   As the UT Martin STEM Ambassador, it was my job to promote the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education throughout west Tennessee.
