  I led research at Value for Women (at the time, a portfolio company of EPV), including field work in India and Kenya on the ecosystem for investment in women-led small businesses. I managed a research team to conduct interviews and focus groups with finance experts and women entrepreneurs to identify gender-based barriers. We also convened ecosystem design workshops with financial services providers, government officials, capacity builders, and women entrepreneurs to develop strategies for increasing the share of women entrepreneurs in investors' portfolios. The findings were presented to hundreds of investors and informed programming and initiatives aimed at fostering the growth of women entrepreneurs around the world. At the broader EPV holding company, I helped a range of clients - including multinational conglomerates, foundations, non-profit organizations, banks, and impact investing funds - to design strategies that led to sustainable, inclusive business growth.
